How we process what we collect
Everything we pick up goes to our own material recovery facility. Nothing is dumped, burned or sent to landfill.
Sorted by hand and machine
PET, HDPE, metal, paper and multilayer plastic are separated into clean, saleable fractions.
Wet waste treated
Organic waste goes to composting or biological treatment, not to a dump.
Zero to landfill
What recyclers won't buy becomes Plave pavers, GeoBlocks or refuse-derived fuel.
The residue is where most services fall short.
Recovering fractions that already have a buyer is the easy part. What's left, like multilayer wrappers, dirty film and mixed plastic, usually gets dumped or burned.

The SWM Rules, 2026 and EBWGR
Notified by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on 28 January 2026 and in force from 1 April 2026, the new rules make bulk waste generators responsible for their waste beyond the gate.

What are the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026?
Rules notified by MoEFCC on 28 January 2026, replacing the 2016 rules from 1 April 2026. They require four-stream segregation at source, define bulk waste generators, introduce Extended Bulk Waste Generator Responsibility (EBWGR), and route registration and returns through a CPCB centralised portal.
What is EBWGR?
Extended Bulk Waste Generator Responsibility. Bulk waste generators must process wet waste on site where feasible, or obtain EBWGR certificates from authorised processors, and report them in an annual return filed by 30 June.
What happens to waste that can't be recycled?
Multilayer wrappers, dirty film and mixed plastic are shredded and used to make Plave, a 100% recycled paver. Construction debris goes into GeoBlocks, and high-calorific residue is processed into refuse-derived fuel.
