Plave is a carbon-negative* precast paving block made entirely from recycled material: plastic that recyclers won't take, like multilayer wrappers and film, bound with construction debris. No cement.

Picked up from homes and plants under our own contracts.

Frequently asked questions
What is Plave made of?
100% recycled input: non-recyclable plastic, including multilayer packaging such as biscuit and snack wrappers, and construction and demolition waste.
What sizes does Plave come in?
The standard shapes are the I-shape (210 × 172 mm, 45 or 60 mm thick) and the zigzag (200 × 125 × 45 mm). Rectangular pavers, kerb edging and grass pavers are made to project sizes.
How strong are Plave pavers?
Plave is M50 grade, tested up to 60 N/mm², with water absorption below 1%, in thicknesses from 20 to 60 mm. It is fireproof and shows no change in strength after 4 hours at 80°C. Test certificates are available on request.
Will Plave soften in Indian summers?
No. Plave is tested for melt resistance at 80°C for 4 hours with no change in strength, well above the surface temperatures pavers see in a north Indian summer. It is also fireproof.
How long does Plave last?
An installed life of 15 to 20 years, and it can be recycled up to 3 times at the end of it.
Is Plave carbon-negative?
Dump In Bin describes Plave as carbon-negative based on internal calculations. It is made without cement from waste that would otherwise be landfilled or burned.
